How to Register

To Create an IM Leagues Account

1. Go to www.imleagues.com (this site works best using the browser Google Chrome).
2. Click on the “Sign Up” link.
3. Enter your information - fill out all required information
   • Name - your name must match the name on your DePaul student, faculty, or staff ID card or you will not be eligible to participate.
   • Enter your email address - use the email address that you check most frequently so you can get updates and reminders.
     • If you use your school address, it will automatically connect you to DePaul University.
     • If you use another email address (gmail, yahoo, etc.), you will have to search for DePaul University.
4. You will be sent a confirmation email. Log in to www.imleagues.com by clicking the activation link in the email. It might take several hours to receive the email.

Team Registration

Talk to your team members to determine the times that you absolutely cannot participate (you will be able to pick some of the times you are NOT available for).

1. Go to IM Leagues to register your team (DON'T FORGET STEPS 3 & 4).
   • Log into your imleagues.com account.
   • Click on the "DePaul University" link.
   • Complete the short captains quiz that will allow you to submit a team.  This quiz must be passed at a 100% rate.  Policies, procedures, sport specific rules, and an online captains' meeting will be available on the web site.
   • The current sports should be displayed toward the bottom of the screen. Click on the sport you wish to join.Choose the league you wish to play in (for example, WQ11 Open Volleyball).
   • Choose the division (day of play and level)in which you would like to play. Each division has a maximum number of teams. If that day/time is full, you will need to pick another time of play.
2. Click on the link to "Create a Team"
   • Captains can invite members to their team in two ways:
     • If a student has already registered on imleagues, click the "invite members" link on the team page, search for their name, and invite them (if someone was a senior last year and is still attending DePaul, they will need to update their graduation date/year in school to participate).
     • If a student has not yet registered on imleagues, click the "invite members" link n the team page, then click the "Can't find someone? Click here to invite by email address", and input the students email address.
   • To join a team
     • Find the team and captain name on the division page and request to join.
     • Go to the captains' player card page, view the team, and request to join.
     • Accept a request from the captain to join the team.
     • Use an email address you check regularly for updates.
3. Your team will not be approved until you have the minimum number of players for that sport on your roster.
4. Pick up and fill out a captain's agreement at the front desk of the Ray. You will need to put a credit card on your account. As always, intramurals are FREE. Your card will only be charged in the event of your team forfeiting. The charge will be $30.

Don't Have A Team? Sign Up Here As A Free Agent!

1. Attend our Free Agent Nights.
2. After you register for IM Leagues, go to the DePaul University tab.
3. Click on which team sport you wish to play.
4. Click on the league you would like to play in (Open, Women, or Co-Rec).
5. Click on the button to "Join As Free Agent" - PLEASE DO NOT JUST JOIN A TEAM. THEY MAY ALREADY HAVE A FULL ROSTER.
6. Pick all of the divisions that you can participate in (the more divisions you choose, the easier it will be to find you a team).
7. While we will do everything we can to help find you a team and are usually successful, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to match you with a team. The more available you are, the better the chance that we will be able to find you a team. Preference will be given to those individuals attending the free agent nights.

Registration For Non-Team/Individual Sports

1. All participants should become familiar with the Intramural Policies and Procedures. It is recommended that participants registering for an individual sport view the online captains meeting.
2. Go to IM Leagues to register for your individual sport (Scrabble, Chess, Table Tennis, Tennis - DON'T FORGET STEPS 3).
   • Log into your imleagues.com account.
   • Click on the "DePaul University" link.
   • The current sports should be displayed toward the bottom of the screen. Click on the sport you wish to join.
   • Choose the league you wish to play in (for example, FQ10 Competitive).
   • Click on the link to "Create a Team"
     • Agree to the waiver.
     • Your team name should be your FIRST AND LAST NAME.
     • Please DO NOT register as a free agent for these activities.
